Made my feature film directorial debut in 2015 with and wrote the screenplay to the award winning children film Villads From Valby – a poetic, warm and honest film for the smallest audience about a playful boy starting school. The film sold 90.000 tickets at the danish boxoffice, was nominated for a Danish Academy Award, and won the ECFA Award 2016 in Oulu Finland, The Audience Award at the Vienna Internatioal Childrens Film, The Audience and Jury Prize at The Kids Film Festival in Warsaw, The Audience Award at LUCAS Filmfest in Frankfurt and has been selected to several festivals around the world. The Film has been sold for distribution in Poland.
I also wrote the screenplay for my second feature, Kidnapning (Kidbusters) – a fast paced and edgy heist movie for the whole family. The film was produced and released in 2017. The film sold 120.000 tickets at the boxoffice, and won the 1st Prize Childrens Jury at Nordische Filmtage in Lubeck, and was nominated for Cinekid in Amsterdam. The Film has so far been sold for distribution in Germany.
My third feature was the youthfilm TEAM ALBERT, a fictionalized story about the real life youtuber Albert Dyrlund. The film opened October 2018 and sold approx.. 65.000 tickets at the boxoffice, and later one the PEOPLES CHOICE award at the Danish Film Academy Awards in 2019.
I made my acting debut on stage in 1996, and has since then worked steadily on stage, film and tv. I Co-founded the award winning Theatre Company Von Baden in 2001 and I’m still both part of the ensemble and is co-artistic director. I have produced, written and directed several short films, a. o. the EFA nominated short film The Heist. In 2005 he wrote, produced and starred in the indie comedy feature film The Perfect Heist. The film was selected for The CPH PIX filmfestival in 2009. The film received a limited cinematic release in Denmark, but has been sold for TV1000, TV2 Denmark and Netflix.
